How much does a team building bus charter cost in Singapore?
A 23-seater minibus starts at SGD 85 for a single point to point trip. The 45-seater coach is SGD 100 and the 49-seater is SGD 110. For a day that moves between venues, hourly hire starts at SGD 50 an hour with a four hour minimum. What goes wrong on an away day, and how we stop it
Team building transport fails in the same few ways every year. Here is what each one costs the company, and the mechanism that removes it.
Half the team drives, the rest take the train, and the venue is a long walk from the nearest station.
What we do: One coach leaves from your office and puts the whole group at the venue door in one go. There is no hunt for a car park and no late arrival from the station.
The day runs across three locations and every session has a fixed start time.
What we do: Hourly hire keeps the coach with you from SGD 50 an hour, on a four hour minimum. Extra stops carry no charge on an hourly booking, so the plan for the day stays yours to change.
Twenty minutes of waiting at the kerb is paid time for everyone standing there, and the session you booked still has to finish on schedule.
What we do: One coach, one pickup time, confirmed in writing before you pay. Everyone travels together, so the session starts when your booking says it does.
Forty separate ride claims cost your finance team an afternoon, and a fixed budget line turns into a guess.
What we do: You get one all-inclusive invoice per booking under UEN 53379842J, covering the driver, fuel, ERP and parking. There are no claims to process afterwards, and we are not GST registered, so nothing is added later.
You have asked three operators for a quote and every one prices something different, so nothing can be compared.
What we do: We quote one figure per vehicle, and that figure is published on the pricing page for anyone to check. Only four surcharges exist, and each one is itemised before you confirm.
You chase the sign up sheet every year, and the headcount still moves after the vehicle has been booked.
What we do: Send us the latest count whenever it changes and we re-quote from the published rates. Moving from a 45-seater to a 49-seater adds SGD 10 on a point to point run, SGD 20 on a two way.
If the coach does not turn up, it is your name on the booking and your director asking what happened.
What we do: The booking is confirmed in writing, with the vehicle, the pickup point and the time named. We are licensed by the Land Transport Authority to operate private hire buses and our UEN is 53379842J, which is a public record. If a vehicle is ever taken off the road at short notice, we tell you before the trip and send a partner operator with the same LTA licensing and insurance.
You are about to commit company money to a vendor nobody in the office has used before.
What we do: Every claim on this page can be checked before you pay. Look up UEN 53379842J, confirm the Land Transport Authority licence, and read the 4.8 star rating from 184 Google reviews. Your driver holds a Class 4 or 4A driving licence and a Bus Driver's Vocational Licence.
Team building rate card
Flat rates per vehicle, not per person. Every figure already covers the driver, fuel, ERP and parking.
| Vehicle | Team size | Point to point | Two way | Per hour (4hr min) | Eight hour day |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 23-seater minibus | Up to 23 people | SGD 85 | SGD 170 | SGD 50 | SGD 400 |
| 45-seater coach | 24 to 45 people | SGD 100 | SGD 200 | SGD 60 | SGD 480 |
| 49-seater coach | 46 to 49 people | SGD 110 | SGD 220 | SGD 70 | SGD 560 |
Hourly hire carries a four hour minimum. We are not GST registered, so no tax is added to these figures. Every rate we publish is on the pricing page.
Hourly hire or point to point
Point to point suits a day at one venue. Drop the team at a resort at nine and collect them at five, and that is a two way transfer. On a 45-seater the pair of runs is SGD 200, which leaves more of the budget for the activity itself.
Hourly hire suits a day that keeps moving. A morning session in town, an activity at East Coast Park, then dinner somewhere else needs the coach to stay with you. The rate starts at SGD 50 an hour on the 23-seater, with a four hour minimum, so an eight hour day is SGD 400. The four hour minimum is SGD 200 on the 23-seater, SGD 240 on the 45-seater and SGD 280 on the 49-seater, and an eight hour day is SGD 400, SGD 480 and SGD 560.
Extra stops are the other thing to weigh. On a point to point booking extra stops are SGD 20 per stop, per vehicle. That charge is waived on hourly hire, because the coach is already yours for the whole block.
The venue decides how the transport has to work
Team building sites in Singapore fall into a few groups, and each one changes the plan.
Venues on the public transport map
Labrador Nature Reserve and the Sentosa resorts can be reached on public transport. A coach still helps with forty people, because the group arrives together instead of drifting in over half an hour.
Venues with thin transport
Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve and the Mandai outdoor centres are hard to reach without a vehicle. A charter is the reliable way in, and it removes the scramble for rides once the day is over.
Anything on Sentosa
Sentosa charges vehicles at its own gantry, SGD 20 for a minibus seating 30 or fewer and SGD 40 for a larger coach, when there is no prior arrangement. That is Sentosa’s charge, never ours.
Starting from the office
Most groups begin at the office car park or the nearest bus bay. Tell us the exact bay and we will name it on the quote, so the driver is not circling the building at eight in the morning.
Banners, props and prize boxes
The 45 and 49 seater coaches have an underfloor hold. Banners, sound gear, team props and prize boxes travel down there, and the passenger cabin stays clear. The 45 takes about 35 large bags and the 49 about 40.
The 23-seater works differently. It seats up to 23 people and holds about 15 large bags, using a small undercarriage compartment, overhead racks and a fold down rear row. Bulky kit goes in the compartment, hand luggage stays in the cabin, and folding the rear row down does not change the seat count.
Tell us what you are bringing when you ask for the quote. If a small team is carrying a large load, we will recommend the bigger coach and size the vehicle to the gear rather than to the headcount.
Headcounts move, so leave a spare seat
Sign-ups change between the planning week and the morning of the event. If you expect 43 people, a 45-seater leaves you two spare seats and nothing more.
Stepping up to the 49-seater costs SGD 10 more on a single run, SGD 110 against SGD 100, and gives you six spare seats. That is a cheap buffer next to turning a colleague away at the kerb.
If the number falls instead, tell us and we will move you down to a smaller vehicle where the fleet allows. Above 49 people you need a second coach on the same booking, and the arithmetic is set out in our guide to how many buses a large group needs.
What the quote covers
One all-inclusive figure per vehicle, whether you book per trip or by the hour.
A driver for the whole booking, with fuel included. There is no mileage to add up afterwards.
Road charges and parking at every stop are already inside the rate you were quoted.
Fitted on all three vehicle sizes, so a manager can set the teams while the coach is moving.
Air conditioning on all three vehicle sizes, with a seat belt on every seat. The 45 and 49 seaters also recline. The 23-seater does not.
Available on all three vehicle sizes. A motorised chair needs a size and weight check first.
There is no onboard wifi, no USB or power charging and no toilet. It is better to know now than on the day.
It names the vehicle, the route and every charge, and the invoice comes under UEN 53379842J.
The only four surcharges
Nothing else is added. Each one is itemised in writing before you confirm the booking.
| Surcharge | When it applies | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Midnight | Any trip touching 11pm to 7am | SGD 20 per vehicle |
| Public holiday | A gazetted public holiday | SGD 30 per vehicle |
| Extra stop | Each stop beyond the agreed route, on point to point bookings | SGD 20 per stop, per vehicle |
| Excess waiting | Beyond 15 minutes free, charged per 15 minute block | SGD 15 per block |
Hourly bookings never carry a waiting charge, because the waiting is what you booked. Our rates do not change for the festive season or for a busy month.
How to check an operator before you sign it off
Every item here is something you can verify yourself, which is exactly why it is listed.

Every driver holds a Class 4 or 4A driving licence and a Bus Driver's Vocational Licence.

One invoice per booking under the UEN, so procurement has a company to check rather than a personal account.
The vehicle, the route, the pickup time and every charge appear in writing before you pay anything.
Our charter rates and the four surcharges are on the pricing page, so you can compare your quote against what we publish.
