Why Singapore Companies Choose Bus Charter for Corporate TransportLTA-Licensed | UEN 53379842J | Established 2018
If you plan transport for your team, a chartered coach takes the stress out of the day. Here is why managers and HR leads in Singapore pick one booking over a scramble of taxis and ride apps.
Why do companies use a chartered bus instead of taxis or ride apps?
Companies use a chartered bus because the whole team travels together, arrives at the same time, and the trip sits on one clear invoice. With taxis or ride apps you juggle many receipts, and staff can turn up late or get split across cars. A booked coach gives you a set pickup, a licensed driver, and a fixed all-inclusive price with no GST. You can see the full setup on our corporate charter page.
The practical reasons managers choose charter
The everyday problems a booked coach quietly solves for your team.
Everyone arrives together
When staff share one coach, they all reach the venue at the same time. There is no waiting for the last person stuck in traffic in a separate car. Your event or meeting can start on schedule.
One invoice, not a pile of receipts
A charter puts the whole trip on a single bill. You do not chase staff for taxi claims or match dozens of small receipts. That saves your finance team real work each month.
Costs you can plan ahead
Our pricing is all-inclusive, so the driver, fuel, ERP, and parking are already in the price, and there is no GST. You know the full cost before the trip, which makes budgeting simple and free of surprises.
A licensed driver you can count on
Every coach comes with a Class 4 or 4A licensed driver holding a Bus Driver's Vocational Licence. Staff sit back, stay belted, and no one has to drive after a long day. It is a safer and calmer way to move a group.
Where a coach fits your company
Common ways Singapore firms put a chartered bus to work.
Daily staff shuttles
For teams in places like Tuas, Jurong Island, or Changi Business Park, a set route brings people to work on time each day. Our staff transport service is built for exactly these journeys.
Airport runs for visitors and teams
We cover all Changi terminals, so you can move guests, crew, or staff to and from flights in one smooth trip. There is no scramble for cars at arrivals when a coach is already waiting.
Company events and team days
For town halls, offsites, or dinners, one coach keeps the group together from start to finish. It also means no one has to drive home after a late night out.
The right size for your group
Choose a 23-seater minibus, a 45-seater coach, or a 49-seater coach depending on headcount. You pay for the right size instead of booking a handful of small cars.
What it costs per employee
Rates are per vehicle, so the cost per head falls as the coach fills. Every figure below is all-inclusive of driver, fuel, ERP and parking, with no GST.
| Vehicle | Per trip | Hourly, four-hour minimum | Per head at full capacity |
|---|---|---|---|
| 23-seater minibus | SGD 85 | SGD 50 per hour | SGD 3.70 |
| 45-seater coach | SGD 100 | SGD 60 per hour | SGD 2.22 |
| 49-seater coach | SGD 110 | SGD 70 per hour | SGD 2.24 |
The number to take to your finance team
A 45-seater carrying 40 staff is SGD 100 for the trip, which is SGD 2.50 a head. Put your own average ride-hailing claim per person next to that figure and the comparison makes itself. We do not publish ride-hail fares, because they move with demand and surge in peak hour and rain, so use your own claim data rather than an estimate from us.
Four surcharges can apply and nothing else: a trip touching 11pm to 7am adds SGD 20 per vehicle, a gazetted public holiday adds SGD 30 per vehicle, extra stops on a point-to-point booking add SGD 20 per stop, per vehicle and they are waived on hourly hire, and waiting beyond the free allowance is SGD 15 per 15 minutes. Busy periods affect how early you should book, never the rate. Full list on the pricing page, or price a specific trip on the instant quote calculator.
What procurement usually asks for
The three things that hold up vendor onboarding, and how we answer them.
Licensing and inspection
We are licensed by the Land Transport Authority to run private hire buses, under UEN 53379842J, and every vehicle is inspected on schedule. Ask for the licence number and the inspection status and you will get them, and you can cross-check the vehicle yourself on the OneMotoring portal.
Insurance in writing
Every trip runs under commercial passenger liability cover. We will send written proof for your vendor file rather than asking you to take it on trust.
A price that does not move
The quote is agreed before the trip and holds regardless of peak hour, weather or demand on the day. That matters when an event in the CBD finishes at 6pm on a wet Friday, which is exactly when ride-hailing costs the most.
One invoice, one vendor
The whole movement sits on a single consolidated invoice under one UEN, instead of dozens of individual expense claims for finance to check and reconcile. Recurring routes can move onto a monthly contract so the billing repeats without rebooking.
