The festive week headaches we take off your plate

A day of visiting goes wrong in the same few ways. Here is what it costs, and how one coach is set up to stop each one.

Problem

The family is spread across four households and the open house list runs all day.

What we do: One coach collects everyone on a single loop, so nobody drives and nobody is left behind.

Problem

On the morning of Raya there are almost no cabs free, and none of them will take a group of twenty.

What we do: The coach is reserved in your name for your time, booked weeks ahead, so the day does not depend on what happens to be available.

Pain

Three cars means three relatives who cannot eat, cannot stay long and spend the day looking for parking.

What we do: One driver handles the lot. Parking sits inside the rate already, so nobody is circling an HDB carpark while the food goes cold.

Pain

Split across cars, the group trickles in and the visit is half over before the last of you arrives.

What we do: Everyone travels together and arrives together, so each visit starts once rather than three times.

Frustration

You have rung round and every operator quotes a different thing, so nothing can be compared.

What we do: One all-inclusive figure per vehicle covering driver, fuel, ERP and parking. Only four surcharges exist and each is itemised before you confirm.

Frustration

You cannot work out whether to book per trip or by the hour for a day of visits.

What we do: Past about three stops, hourly hire from SGD 50 an hour is usually cheaper and simpler. Send us the round and we will price it both ways.

Fear

You are afraid the price jumps the moment you mention it is for Raya week.

What we do: The rate card does not move for the festive season. Price changes on one kind of date only, a gazetted public holiday, at SGD 30 per vehicle, and that appears on your quote before you pay.

Fear

You are putting your parents and grandparents on a coach run by a company you have never used.

What we do: We are licensed by the Land Transport Authority under UEN 53379842J. The driver holds a Class 4 or 4A driving licence and a Bus Driver's Vocational Licence, and your written quote names the vehicle before you pay.

Hari Raya charter rates

All-inclusive of driver, fuel, ERP and parking. Rates are per vehicle, not per passenger.

VehiclePoint to pointAirport transferTwo wayPer hour (4hr min)Eight hour day
23-seater minibusSGD 85SGD 100SGD 170SGD 50SGD 400
45-seater coachSGD 100SGD 110SGD 200SGD 60SGD 480
49-seater coachSGD 110SGD 120SGD 220SGD 70SGD 560

Hourly hire carries a four hour minimum. Full rates for every service are on the pricing page.

Point to point or hourly hire

Point to point suits one direct run, such as home to the mosque and back with nothing in between. A return trip from Tampines to Masjid Sultan on a 23-seater is a two way transfer at SGD 170, and that figure holds whatever the traffic does.

Hourly hire suits the open house rounds, where the coach waits while you visit. The 23-seater is SGD 50 an hour on a four hour minimum, so a full day of morning prayers and several houses fits an eight hour charter at SGD 400. Extra stops carry no charge on hourly hire.

The rule of thumb: once the day has three or more stops, hourly hire is usually better value and it removes the stop by stop arithmetic. For one clean out and back, point to point is cheaper.

Choosing the coach for your group

Match the vehicle to the headcount, then leave room for the gifts and the kueh going between houses.

15 to 23 people

The 23-seater minibus. Right for a multi-household reunion or a mosque youth outing, and it reaches HDB driveways a full coach cannot.

24 to 45 people

The 45-seater coach. The usual choice for a large family or a surau group, with a luggage hold underneath for gifts and prayer mats.

46 to 49 people

The 49-seater coach, the most seats on one vehicle. Better than splitting a group of 48 across two coaches and two rates.

More than 49

Two or more coaches on one booking, one contact and one quote. Read how many buses a large group needs.

What your quote includes

One all-inclusive figure per vehicle, whether you book per trip or by the hour.

🚗Driver and fuel

A driver who knows the mosque and estate access points, fuel included.

💳ERP and parking

Road charges and parking at each stop are already covered.

Air-conditioned cabin

A cool place for elders and children between houses.

🎁Room for gifts

Space for hampers, kueh and prayer mats, in the hold on the 45 and 49 seaters.

Wheelchair ramp on request

Available on all three vehicle sizes. A motorised chair needs a size and weight check first.

🔔Microphone and PA

On board for announcements to the group. There is no wifi, no charging point and no toilet.

The only four surcharges

Nothing else is added. Each one is itemised in writing before you confirm.

SurchargeWhen it appliesAmount
MidnightAny trip touching 11pm to 7amSGD 20 per vehicle
Public holidayA gazetted public holiday, which includes Hari Raya Puasa itselfSGD 30 per vehicle
Extra stopEach stop added beyond the agreed route, on point to point bookingsSGD 20 per stop, per vehicle
Excess waitingBeyond 15 minutes free, charged per 15 minute blockSGD 15 per block

Hourly bookings never carry a waiting charge, because the waiting is the booking. There is no festive season surcharge of any kind.

When to book for Hari Raya

Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2027 is expected around March 2027, with the exact date confirmed closer to the time against the Islamic calendar. Check the date before you lock anything in.

Book as early as you can, and be clear about why. Booking early does not protect your price, because the rate card does not move for the festive season. What it protects is the vehicle. The week of Raya is when coaches go first, and a 45-seater booked in January is simply a 45-seater you have and somebody else does not.

How to check any operator before you pay

Everything here is something you can verify yourself, which is the point of listing it.
