Bus Charter to Sentosa for Groups in Singapore
LTA-Licensed | UEN 53379842J | Established 2018A simple guide for group organisers taking a coach to Sentosa in Singapore. It covers drop-off, sizing your group and adding a wider island tour to the day.
Can a charter bus drop my whole group off at Sentosa?
Yes. Our LTA-licensed coaches can bring your whole group across to Sentosa and set everyone down at the approved coach drop-off points, so nobody has to split up or find their own way. Because our pricing is all-inclusive, the driver, fuel, ERP and parking are already covered. You can see indicative starting points on our pricing page.
Getting your group to Sentosa by coach
How a private charter gets everyone there together.
One coach, one group
Instead of splitting into taxis or squeezing onto public transport, your whole group rides together in one air-conditioned bus. Everyone leaves at the same time and arrives at the same time, which makes a big group far easier to keep together.
Drop-off made simple
Our drivers hold Class 4 or 4A driving licences and Bus Driver’s Vocational Licences and know the approved coach drop-off points on the island. They will set your group down close to where you are headed, then take care of the parking so you do not have to think about it.
Pick your starting point
We can collect your group from almost anywhere in Singapore, such as a hotel, an office, a school or one of the Changi terminals. Just tell us your address when you book and we will plan the route to Sentosa for you.
What public transport costs a group
For twenty people or more the cheap option stops being cheap once you count the per-head fares and the time.
Fares add up per person
Every member of the group pays their own way onto the island. The Sentosa Express is charged per head, so a fare that looks trivial for one person is a real line item for a group of forty, and it is on top of getting everyone to HarbourFront in the first place.
The group fragments
Split a group across the MRT, the Sentosa Express and the cable car and someone is always on the wrong platform. Most organisers lose half an hour or more shepherding people through HarbourFront and VivoCity before the day has even started.
No car parks, no hourly meter
Driving in yourself means finding a space and paying Sentosa’s hourly parking on top of the vehicle entry charge. A charter drops your group at the door and the parking is our problem, not yours, because it is already inside the rate.
Gear travels with you
Barbecue supplies, event kit, corporate materials, prizes and coolers ride in the hold instead of being dragged through stations. The same goes for older guests, young children and anyone who would rather skip the stairs and transfers.
Sentosa sets its own fares and parking charges and reviews them from time to time, so check the current figures on Sentosa’s own site when you budget. What we can fix in advance is our side: one all-inclusive coach rate covering driver, fuel, ERP and parking, with no GST.
Where your coach actually drops off
Sentosa routes coaches to designated bays rather than letting them park freely, so tell us your first stop and the driver heads to the right one.
| Where you are headed | Coach drop-off |
|---|---|
| Universal Studios Singapore | USS entrance, off the Resorts World drive |
| Resorts World Sentosa | RWS Arrival Plaza coach bay |
| Adventure Cove Waterpark | Waterpark entrance |
| Palawan or Siloso Beach | Beach drop-off, which suits a barbecue or a beach event |
| iFly Singapore | Siloso Beach Walk |
| Sentosa Golf Club | Club entrance |
USS, Adventure Cove and the beaches all use different bays, so confirm your first stop when you book rather than on the day. If you are bringing barbecue or event gear to Palawan or Siloso, say so at booking and we will route to the right beach drop-off so nobody carries it across the island.
On a full-day trip the coach normally sets your group down, leaves the island and returns at an agreed pickup time. On hourly hire it stays with you instead.
What Sentosa charges to bring a coach onto the island
This one is set by Sentosa, not by us, so it is the same whichever operator you book.
| Vehicle | Sentosa island admission |
|---|---|
| Minibus seating 30 or fewer, which covers our 23 seater | SGD 20 |
| Coach seating more than 30, which covers our 45 and 49 seaters | SGD 40 |
The fee applies to minibuses and coaches that arrive unannounced at the gantry without prior arrangement. Sentosa lists vehicles with a pre-existing arrangement as unaffected, and names corporate events, staff transportation, Sentosa Cove residents, community groups and eligible schools. Payment is taken automatically by CashCard through the vehicle’s IU, or in cash at the gantry counters.
This is a Sentosa charge and not one of our four surcharges, so it never reaches you as a markup from us. Tell us at booking that the trip goes onto the island and we will confirm on your quote how it is handled. Figures published by Sentosa on its official FAQ page.
Sizing and planning your Sentosa outing
Match the bus to your group and keep the day running smoothly.
Pick the right size
Our fleet has a 23-seater minibus, a 45-seater coach and a 49-seater coach, all air-conditioned and fitted with seatbelts. A smaller group fits the minibus, while a school cohort or company outing suits one of the larger coaches. You can compare sizes on our fleet page.
Add a wider Singapore tour
A Sentosa trip pairs nicely with other stops like Gardens by the Bay or Chinatown. With a tour bus charter, the same driver stays with you for the day, so you can move between places without hunting for transport each time.
Plan your timing
Hourly hire starts from SGD 50 per hour with a four-hour minimum, which suits a full day out. If you only need a one-way ride, a simple trip charter may cost less, so tell us your plan and we will suggest the better option.
Everything is included
Our prices are all-inclusive, covering the driver, fuel, ERP and parking, with no GST added. That means the figure you agree on is the figure you pay, which makes a group budget easy to plan.
Sentosa charter rates, and which to pick
Starting points from the city. Final pricing moves with date, timing and trip length.
| Vehicle | Per trip | Hourly, four-hour minimum |
|---|---|---|
| 23-seater minibus | From SGD 85 | From SGD 50 per hour |
| 45-seater coach | From SGD 100 | From SGD 60 per hour |
| 49-seater coach | From SGD 110 | From SGD 70 per hour |
The four-hour rule
A fixed drop and return suits a group with a firm schedule. Once you are on the island longer than about four hours, or you want to move between attractions during the day, hourly hire usually costs less than booking separate trips and it copes with plans changing on the ground. Attraction-hopping days, say Universal Studios in the morning, the beach after lunch and dinner at Resorts World, are almost always better hourly.
Book three to five days ahead for weekends and school holidays, when both our fleet and Sentosa itself fill up. Weekday off-peak trips can sometimes be arranged at shorter notice. Price your own day on the instant quote calculator.
