Should I book a 45-seater or a 49-seater coach in Singapore?
Book the 45-seater unless your group is bigger than 45. A single trip is SGD 100 on the 45-seater and SGD 110 on the 49-seater, so only SGD 10 separates them. At full load that is about SGD 2.22 a head against SGD 2.24. The 49-seater earns the difference in two cases: your group is 46 to 49 people, or a full 45 would leave no cabin room for hand luggage. Both rates include the driver, fuel, ERP and parking.

Where the choice between the two coaches goes wrong
Groups of 40 to 50 people get stuck in the same few places. Here is what each mistake costs, and how we head it off.
Your group is 47 people, so the 45-seater is simply not an option.
What we do: The 49-seater is the largest single vehicle we run. It takes the whole group on one booking, one driver and one arrival time.
Everyone fits in 45 seats, but only if nobody brings a bag into the cabin.
What we do: We size on two numbers, headcount and bag count. The 45-seater hold takes about 35 large bags and the 49-seater about 40, so send us both figures and we confirm the fit.
Splitting 47 people across a 45-seater and a minibus costs SGD 185 for one trip, against SGD 110 on a single 49-seater.
What we do: Whenever your headcount still fits 49, the single vehicle option is the one we quote. A second vehicle goes on the quote only when the numbers genuinely need it.
Half your group reaches the venue and waits outside, because the second vehicle is still on the road.

What the four extra seats cost on each booking type
The gap is SGD 10 on a single trip. It widens on longer bookings, so read the row that matches your day.

Rates are per vehicle and cover the driver, fuel, ERP and parking. A day that runs past eight hours is quoted at the same hourly rate. We are not GST registered, so nothing is added on top. Every rate we charge is on the pricing page.
Cost per head barely moves, so decide on something else
Fill a 45-seater on a single trip and each seat costs about SGD 2.22. Fill a 49-seater and the figure is about SGD 2.24. Two cents a head is not a reason to pick either coach.
A full eight hour day works out at about SGD 10.67 a head on the 45-seater, and about SGD 11.43 on the 49-seater. That gap grows with the length of the booking rather than the size of the group. The longer your day runs, the more an empty seat costs you.
So two real questions are left. How many people are actually coming, and how much are they carrying? Answer those and the coach picks itself.
Which coach for your headcount
Count the people actually coming, then add anyone who might still say yes.
Up to 40 people
The 45-seater, comfortably. At least five spare seats give everyone somewhere to rest a jacket or a small bag, and you pay the lower rate all day.
41 to 45 people
Still the 45-seater, and every seat will be taken. If a few more people might still say yes and push you past 45, moving up to the 49-seater adds SGD 10 on a single trip. That is far less than a second vehicle.
46 to 49 people
The 49-seater, and it is the only single vehicle that fits. Anything smaller means splitting the group across two vehicles.
More than 49 people

What is identical on both coaches
Most of it. The differences are seats, hold space and SGD 10 on a single trip.
Each coach has a driver holding a Class 4 or 4A driving licence and a Bus Driver's Vocational Licence.
Driver, fuel, ERP and parking sit inside both rates. We are not GST registered, so nothing is added on top.
Both are full-size coaches with air-conditioning, reclining seats and a seat belt on every seat. The 23-seater minibus has no reclining seats, which is one reason groups step up.
On board for announcements to the group. Neither coach has wifi, a charging point or a toilet.
Available on both coaches, and on the minibus too. A motorised chair needs a size and weight check first.
Both work anywhere on the island, including every Changi terminal, Tuas and Jurong Island. Each trip starts and ends in Singapore.
When one coach beats two vehicles
A group of 47 has two ways to travel. The first is one 49-seater at SGD 110 for a single trip. The second is a 45-seater at SGD 100 plus a 23-seater minibus at SGD 85, which comes to SGD 185. The single coach saves SGD 75 on that one trip.
The cost of a second vehicle is not only the fare. It doubles the pickup points, the arrival times and the head counting at both ends. On a wedding or a school outing, that is the part people remember, not the SGD 75.
Above 49 people a second vehicle is unavoidable, and we run both on the same route and timing so the group stays together. Up to 49, one coach is nearly always the better answer.
The only four surcharges, identical on both coaches
Nothing else is added. Each one is itemised in writing before you confirm.

Airport transfers carry 45 minutes of free waiting instead of 15. On hourly hire there is no waiting charge, and an extra stop is not charged either. Our rates do not change for the festive season.
